You can then schedule your provider appointments. Once your appointment is scheduled, the actual consultation can be conducted via telephone or online, using live video chat.

Most consultations are less than 30 minutes. Follow up appointments and prescription refills can take considerably less time.

TelewellnessMD products and services are not reimbursable by Medicare, Medicaid or any other government health care program, or any commercial insurer, managed care organization, preferred provider organization or other payor. Wellness services may be covered by some insurance in the future.
Medical savings accounts (HAS, HRA, FSA, MSA) may allow you to use your account for payment for wellness products and services, you will need to contact your employer or medical savings account administrator for availability.

Yes, TeleWellnessMD charges a consultation fee. These fees are associated with having a Physician review your medical history, having the pharmacy fulfill your prescription and all associated processing fees. We do everything possible to keep these costs to a minimum to pass the savings on to you.

Controlled substances regulated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, will not be prescribed or renewed by TeleWellnessMD wellness providers. TeleWellnessMD offers wellness compounds that can be safely prescribed through a telewellness format.

No, each individual must complete a wellness consultation with one of our medical professionals in order to be prescribed a wellness plan. This plan is individualized and needs to be obtained directly from the client.

You can use our easy refill service without another consultation, unless necessary. All prescription refills cannot extend over 12 months and will require another consultation to review your records and update your wellness program.

May I have my prescription filled at another pharmacy?
Yes, you may choose to have your prescription filled at another pharmacy at any time; however, many of our compounds are proprietary blends that are not available at most pharmacies and our providers will only prescribe our listed products and services. If the prescription is available at another pharmacy it is your right to have it filled at any pharmacy you select.
